Transcripts are only considered official when addressed and delivered directly to the intended recipient.

Messiah is now partnering with Parchment for electronic transcript requests. Requests for official electronic transcripts are entered in Self-Service Banner. Click Student tab, Student Records, Request an Official Electronic Transcript (via Parchment). The cost is $4.50 per transcript. Starting January 6, 2025, sales tax will be collected on certain document requests, including transcripts and diplomas, in compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. This change may affect the total cost of your request based on various factors such as delivery method and location. Before completing your order, you will see a breakdown of all charges, including any applicable taxes, to ensure total transparency.

To order an official electronic transcript, complete these steps:

Log in with your existing Parchment account or create a new Parchment account.
Complete each step of the order form.
If you require that a form or document be sent with your transcript, you must upload the document during the order process.

Printed/Mailed Transcript

Current Messiah Students

Transcripts are only considered official when addressed and delivered directly to the intended recipient. Students may reqeust up to three printed mailed transcripts per week at no charge, additional requests are $2.00 per transcript.

Requests for official printed/mailed transcripts are made in Click Student tab, and then click Student Records, Request an Official Printed/Mailed Transcript.

Previous Students and Alumni

Previous students may request up to three printed/mailed transcripts per week at no charge, additional transcripts are $2.00 per transcript.

Requests for official transcripts are made by completing the following steps:

Important: To comply with federal regulations governing the privacy of educational records, Messiah University requires the penned signature of the student to release academic records. Electronic/digital signatures will not be accepted.
Submit request form:

  Scan your signed/completed form and upload it using Messiah's Secure Upload Service. to upload your request.
  You will receive a notification once your file has been uploaded successfully, as well as an email confirmation to the address you provided. Your request will be processed within one business week upon receipt of the signed/completed form.
